Careers
To collaborate with European Quality Standard, it is essential to understand its philosophy.
Let us begin by illustrating the operations of European Quality Standard HK Ltd. In Italy, the same general philosophy will be maintained, within the limits and according to the provisions of current laws. The role initially envisaged is that of agent and/or business solicitor, for which it is essential to have at least 3 years of previous work experience in the sector or to have attended the MasterEQS. The role of agent/solicitor can develop into that of Technical Operator (or Partner-Technical Operator).
Operations
The operations of EQSHK Ltd are based on the “Zero Expenses” concept: no fixed salary or expense reimbursements (unless directly and previously invoiced to the client) are paid. The only fixed expenses regarding EQSHK Ltd are those relating to the company secretary, namely the fulfillment of bureaucratic obligations, bookkeeping, and the registered office. The “Zero Expenses” operation unequivocally guarantees each partner who wishes to personally invest and undertake a career within EQS. The earnings of each operator (including the Director) are paid in the form of commissions according to the following scheme.
Operating scheme for the payment of commissions
The roles operating within the company are as follows:
- Sole Director and Technical Manager
This figure has the powers of the Sole Director as per the Articles of Association, with the limit of the payment of commissions fixed below in the capacity of Partner-Technical Operator.
- Partner-Technical Operator (SOT)
This figure holds shares and possesses the professional skills to manage a certification process from the client’s request through to the issuance of the final certificate. For this activity, they are entitled to a commission equal to 50% of the EQSHK profits generated by the process itself, net of all related expenses.
- Technical Operator (OT)
This figure possesses the professional skills to manage a certification process from the client’s request through to the issuance of the final certificate. For this activity, they are entitled to a commission equal to 40% of the EQSHK profits generated by the process itself, net of all related expenses.
- Agent (AG)
The business solicitor receives a commission equal to 20% of the EQSHK profits generated by the process itself, net of all related expenses. Their task is to propose EQS services and, once the client is contacted, to pass the management to the Technical Manager, who will handle it directly or entrust it to a Technical Operator (or SOT).
The role of Technical Operator (or SOT) mentioned above is appointed by the Technical Manager at their sole discretion. The roles are also interchangeable and cumulative depending on the client’s activity. In fact, it may happen that a Technical Operator is also the Agent for a client (i.e., they secured the client themselves); this means they will be entitled to the sum of the two commissions mentioned above, namely 60% of the EQSHK profit as described above. However, the same person may not be able to follow a certification project entrusted to them by the client (due to lack of specific expertise or simply time); in this case, they will remain the holder of the commission share as an Agent, while the process itself will be entrusted to another Technical Operator. Agents can aspire to the qualification of Technical Operator through specific internships or field experience and, in any case, if—and only if—appointed by the Technical Manager; furthermore, through the acquisition of shares, they can become Partner-Technical Operators. There is no provision for the role of Partner-Agent.
Below is a brief diagram, valid as an example, to summarize the above.
In case “a”, Nunzio Braia is the Agent for the company “Pinocchio Elettrodomestici S.r.l.” having secured it, and he manages the relative process: he will be entitled to 70% of the revenues as an agent and SOT, while the remaining 30% will remain in the Reserve Fund.
In case “b”, a new process for Pinocchio will be entrusted to Caio, who as an OT will be entitled to 40% of the revenues, while 20% will remain with Braia N. as an agent and the remainder in the Fund.
In case “c”, the business solicitor is Tizio and the process will be entrusted by the Technical Manager to Sempronio.
- Partners, Franchising, Multi-firm Agents
EQS is willing to consider any proposal regarding professional and consultancy collaboration relationships that are non-subordinate and remunerated on a commission basis.
