The regulation also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests performed on animals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e17c430 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"e17c430\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d8dc33d e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"d8dc33d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2a237b2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2a237b2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In principle, the REACH regulation applies to all chemical substances: not only those used in industrial processes, but also those used in daily life, such as in detergents or paints, and those present in articles like clothing, furniture, and household appliances.
